4.88 vs 5.29 gears?

just wanted to know if it'd be stronger with the 4.88's. but 5.29's it is. just kicking around stuff before i buy. thanks

If this is going to be a trailer queen and you have dual cases, why change from 4:10's? You already have all the gearing you need.

Totally differant if this is an everyday driver though.

because i want to replace the ones that are in there. the diffs in my truck haven't been takin care of over the years. so i'm completely going through and changing every bearing and seal. and i would like to have a little lower gears in them. peace of mind. but it won't be a daily driver. only to the the trail, on the trail and trailered whenever i can. i'll be selling my 3 other vehicles to get one good DD.

the main thing i want to know is if the 4.88's are any stronger or just stuff the 5.29 gears in?

people all say that 4.10 and 4.88 areway stronger but is it true, befor you yell yes the grater the gear rasheo the weker the gear is most of the time
