They exist. Downside is they are only for a 20" wheel. Thought about getting a set, but figured my rear axle would hate life even more! I am just glad they actually exist and are no longer stuff of legend.

maybe folks will try these out and i can finally find a set of (GOOD) used 39's at a decent price molaugh

Good luck, price reflects how hard they are to find. Also BFG increased the price of red labels by almost 30% this year so even at racer pricing they still cost a lot but probably still less than swampers at retail price.

Any word on if any improvements have been made to the sidewall area?

Don't think so, I know they changed the tread compound this year which is why they just started shipping tires last week. Sidewall is still the same as far as I know, other than there is less of it on the 42's!

new 39 reds are 6lbs heavier than the old ones. But based on the build the compound has to be a heavier compound.
From 77 to 83lbs.
Yes I weighed my new ones, cause I'm a dork.

What do you have that has reds? Didn't you sell your rig? I'm out of the loop!

He likes to sit in the garage and make vroom vroom noises now and fresh red labeled rubber just adds to the "effect" :flipoff1:

Flickin' his Bic to get the smoking rubber smell.

Wyatt has to have a set so he can tell everybody he has Reds! :flipoff1:

42's are just in development and testing now, they are thinking maybe by next year they will be in production

Is it just an idea and a pile of parts at this point or is it actually being built? Who is the builder if so?
