4th Annual Twin Lakes (Whatcom Co.) Snow Run!

haha, well its starting snowing today! already seeing snow pile up. This is a pretty strong system, so we'll see a good foot or so just after the shed.

Its -finally- dropping below 32F at 5000ft. at noon is was 32.2F across the valley. So there should be a good 6" of snow at the switchbacks, it'll be interesting to see how much falls over night.

So there's only about 6" of snow up there right now?

Those that want good breakfast---Hungry Bear in Deming...... try and be there by 7:30am so we can keep some sort of schedule! :redneck: If you get to the Casino, you've gone too far----there's a shell station right next door to the Bear....and they have Diesel...

I'm ready to go. I'll be at the service center at 9:30. Maybe a little earlier depending on how the drive goes. I'll be in a black 4 door Tacoma.

Last yr we got back to the highway around 5ish....:awesomework:
4hrs one way??? Man, what part of washington (no the state!:redneck:) you at???

What time do you guys get back to the parking lot? I really would like to go next weekend. But it is a 4 hour drive one way which I am not aginst if I have a chance at heading home around 6 or so.

Yah we ended up eating dinner around 5:30 I'm glacier ..so you should have plenty of time to get back. Probably suggest staying the night in bellingham the night before.
