P, they just send the majic ECU fairy to your house and flash it for you :flipoff1:

You have to send them the brain and they flash it and send it back. So yeah, going with somebody that is quick would eliminate down time. Check out sites like Chevy Fullsize, they are mostly street trucks and tow rigs related.

I didnt know if they did it on an exchange basis... that would make more sense to me but apparently it doesnt take much ka nowledge 2 flasher something.

Try and look around for somebody that does EFI Live locally, they may be able to do it on the spot for you. Outside of that, you will be down for a few days

P this may be possible with a GM Tech 2 scanner like we have at the dealership. I'll ask today and see what all they can do with them and let ya know.

Hey guys, been on Pirate for a few years, just found this forum. My brother does all of our ecm flashes and tunes with EFILive. He does it as a hobbie so his prices are lower and turnaround is fast. If your interested, just let me know and I can handle everything or get you intouch with him. we don't do any wiring harnesses, but we have found a very easy way to wire the 5.3 using the stock fuse block and 3 wires
