5.3vs 383, What has more potential?

Ive got a 383 in my yj with a 3.75 stroke 10.1 all roller with an edelbrock injection and im in the process of putting a 5.3 in my tj reason being is im 100% postive you can get a 5.3 put in for close half what it cost to build an old school sbc. I love my 383 but I think the 5.3 will b close on power. just my .02
