Got the 60 back together with the RCVs, new spool and new seals. Waiting to hear back about my harness.

Still waiting for the harness to get diagnosed.

well i guess this is just a perfect example of people having different experiences.

My Jim's harness on my old buggy was total garbage (granted this was several years ago so things may have changed)...junk connections, loose wires, plastic looming. I had issues with my "tune" as well that never got figured out. Shop mate had a tune from them also that he couldn't get figured out after multiple phone calls.

My experience with 208 has been nothing but awesome. However Kerry is having a totally different experience and that really sucks; and I wont even try to come up with any excuses for it - I feel bad for sending Kerry to 208 with all the issues hes having...but I am confident that it will get figured out.

I probably shouldn't bad mouth Jim's; he does good work for a lot of people. I just personally wasn't happy; that's all.

Man. It has been another month and still no harness or computer. 208 is looking real good here!!

Jim has done probably a dozen for me and all have been perfect. My first choice. First complaint I have heard. Have had a horrible experience with Mast Motorsports here lately. Cant seem to get anything accomplished with them. Loose wires, connectors, tune, bad ecm, harness, etc. Bad deal. They just keep blowing me off...

I got the harness and computer. I was having issues, so I sent it back.

Kerry brought the back for me to do a little more work on it, got the exhaust built and modified the frame rails to run the coolant through. Also snapped a couple good pictures of it posing on the trailer

Congrats! What was the problem?
Bad sensor in the gas pedal.
Ran across another issue today. I was reading live data today and noticed the driver O2 values were all over then map. Turns out the driver side bank was not getting spark and running on 4 cylinders. The pin on the main harness that supplies power for spark was pushed in. Quick fix and now it runs on all 8 cylinders and sounds MUCH better. It's a whole different machine now. There is already quite a bit of tread wear on the Treps with less than a mile on them[emoji23]

Its been a while since I have updated my build thread. This buggy build has been a ****ing roller coaster. Took it out on shakedown run. Buggy did great minus so motor "sounds". Motor made great power but had a knock. Pulled that out in favor of a Gen IV 6.0 LY6. Used the Lingenfelter converter box. Got some goodies from Texas Speed. Motor is in and running but desperately needs a new tune.
How do I embed a video on here!? https://youtu.be/cvAjPvVmNmQ

Sounds good, I've been looking at the vvt-2 or vvt-3 cam for my LY6. What stall speed did they recommend for that cam?

Texas Speed recommended a 3200. That seemed absurd. So I stuck with my 2400
