Jet Boats don't have the top end speed that a V-Drive boat or a Runner Bottom boat has. Not even close.

I've never personally owned on but got a buddy running a 17'10 Sanger with a blown 468 into a 2 speed Powerglide to a Casale box to the Vdrive. Nothing better to hear than a big block bumping the Rev limiter and then shifting into high gear. Wow, badass Runs out on Lake Oroville, Ca
