I was at work when I heard a plan crashed into one of the towers but I didn't think much of it, I assumed it was a small plane. Later I heard that another crashed and the news blew up with attack talk. I couldn't believe that the towers crashed, it seemed nearly impossible to me. My wife told me before I saw it on video and I assumed she meant that part of the wall fell off, or something minor in comparison.

After the 4 planes crashed and the rest were grounded I realized that it was the Pearl Harbor of my day. For weeks I was addicted to news (more than usual) and it didn't feel right to have fun. Enjoyment seemed selfish, laughing seemed wrong.

I will not forget.

I was headed to work and was listening to John Boy and Billy on the radio. They were getting it just as it happened and I just could not fully understand it at that moment. Not until I got to work and got on the internet and started reading some reports did I fully get what had happened.

was in college. woke up went to first class, heard rumors of what was going on. went back to the fraternity house and watched the news the rest of the day with everyone. i can remember the day like it was yesterday, the feeling was crazy, pretty much numb.

GOD BLESS THE USA & OUR TROOPS

**** OBAMA

I was in HS, but my dad was in Israel for work. We were just a little worried that crazy stuff had broken out over there as well, and it took us nearly all day to reach him via telephone. I wont ever forget.

i was awakened by my kitchen manager at the restaurant panicking...he said everyone there was scared to work because terrorists were flying planes into big buildings.....he suggested we close the restaurant....lol....damn ninjas...

god bless this mutha fawking bad ass country!! it's easy to see that everyone else is jealous....

I was the first one up in our fraternity and was sitting eating breakfast watching the tv. One of the other guys came downstairs and I was telling him what had happened. I left for work and we then watched as the other plane hit and everything went down. We didn't get much done that day. I was checking PBB over and over because we didn't have a good TV reception at work and was getting the info faster on there.

Definitely one of those days you won't forget. The other one I remember from growing up was the Challenger explosion. I was in elementary school and they brought the TV out for everyone to watch.

I was working on a job site, listening to Bob and Tom....wow what a crazy thing. All I could think about was waiting for that call from the people at the armory....figured we were going to get called up to active duty, didnt happened till 04 and it was a state side duty.

GOD BLESS THIS COUNTRY AND IT GREAT SUPPORTERS!!!!!!!! loller.gif

I was on my way to school that morning driving down river road right before the river road park when Jennifer called me to tell me a plane flew into a buildin in New York. I was like, "Okay planes do crash, just a matter of time when one would do more damage like crash into a city." She then said, "No someone flew into it on purpose cause another one just crashed into the other building! You know the World Trade Towers!" I couldn't believe it. I was shocked for few hours.

was headed into class at shelton, heard somthing about it while i was in the library and figured it was a great excuse to skip class. went to a buddys and watched the news all day pretty much till ball practice. seemed like the world stopped for a while.
