That welded floor pan is going to make removing a trashed cab difficult?

Also that brake pedal is going to be hard to push, mounted like that.

It was going to be difficult before the floor was welded on...nothings easy with this build.

The exhaust is roughed in, just lack finish welding from the y-pipe back and adding a couple v-bands from the trans back.

I quickly remembered why I hate mig welding aluminized steel. The passenger side of the 'y' I mig'd, and even though the entire exhaust will be wrapped, I ground it down smooth. The drivers side I tig'd, much easier, a little slower, but zero grinding. The remainder will be tig'd- only 30 joints to finish....

I bought a large mandrel bend kit, but honestly using pie cuts went much faster because it allowed much more manipulation of the radii' and angles...and there are some wacky angles. Certainly the pie cuts take longer in the welding job, but I do love welding.

Unless someone can steer me away, I'm going to solid mount (but removable) the exhaust from the engine skid back. The entirety of exhaust flex will occur from the motor mounts to the flex joint and rubber hanger. Worked fine on the buggy.

Exhaust photo dump...my apologies if I've duplicated a previous pic from above.

What are you cutting your miters with? That's some damn good fitting. Impressive as always!
Cheap ass northern tool band saw. 9° cuts for an included angle of 18°. Make the pieces longer or shorter to change the radius.

Thanks!

About 8 hours so far, still have to pull, finish weld, and attach in the boat side.

Thanks guys...in really itching to hear how it sounds. In the buggy it was much shorter, with camaro manifolds and Borla xr1 muffler. It's about 2 feet longer now with headers and a Flowmaster single chamber knockoff, (free donation, will change if I don't like it. )

Not much photo worthy progress, but lots done today. Exhaust is fully welded, prepped, and painted; minus the muffler and tail pipe. Ready to wrap and hang.

Good to be back to the manche after two weeks of other stuffs.
