The most ****ed up part of it all is that he is the owner of a large complex down the street for kids. They have bowling, mini put put, arcades, and playgrounds for children. Tons of kids birthday parties, etc.

Just thought I would close this thread off.

I would have quietly told him exactly why I banned him from the wifi access, and politely made him fully aware that **** is not acceptable. Knowing that he owns a kiddie park, I may have even mentioned that too. Sounds like a real weirdo to me.

Look at opendns.org You can block most all that stuff from happening by setting the DNS on the router to their ip and turning filtering on. It is easy for someone to bypass this but most likely they won't know how. I use it on our wifi.

He finally came in today while I was here. I found his MAC and blocked the new computer. I was watching him on the security cameras as I did. Within 30 seconds of blocking him he was packing up. He practically ran out of the building. LOL!

I agree but its also not easy to approach someone in a busy restaurant with people around and accuse them of illegally downloading anal porn. I'm not sure if there is any legal liability involved with doing such a thing. For instance, if he claims its not him and all the locals around him know him do I have a defamation suit on my hands? He works next door. If word got around and he lost his job because of it is he going to sue me for wages lost? Easier to just block him now that I know how. It was obvious on camera today that he knew he was busted, he had a plan for if it happened, and this was not the first time he has had to vacate quickly after being shut off. Maybe the first time he wrote it off as bad luck or something. A second time is not chance.

Today's post was just to update the thread. If you prefer I stop I will. I doubt there will be a reason to update it again anyway.

Don't stop I think it's hilarious. Personally I would continue to do what you're doing just for the satisfaction of watching him run out every time.

I know. I think he can also just change his network adapter out and get a new MAC, too. But it took him over 6 months after I blocked him the first time to save up for his new porn-machine so I'm thinking he's not that resourceful. There's always the nuke of confronting him face-to-face if this doesn't keep working.

His response today was telling to me. My security footage is live on my computer. I simply multi-task to watch it. In the amount of time that it took after I blocked him to switch from that window to the security window (1 second max) he had already started packing up and in under 30 seconds he was quickly walking out the door. I am 100% certain that he knows he was busted. He'll normally sit here for hours and hours downloading. It took me about 30 minutes today to figure it out and then he was gone. His download sessions had definitely been cut short.

In honesty the are free subscriptions you can subscribe to to block all kinds of sites, you can choose what type. I've been bouncing around RV parks the last two years, and one actually blocks news sites. CNN/MSNBC/FOX/etc but not porn. (Thank Gawd). BUT, you can block porn so that no one can get to it from you access point.

Where does he sit during these marathon pron sessions? Does he order food? This is the best thread on hardline.

Just at the most private table we have. It's open seating so there really isn't anywhere private. He just uses the one table where only one other table could possibly see his screen. He's not viewing the content here. Just mass downloading it for private use later. So even if you see the screen all you see is a download queue

And he orders a sandwich and a drink every time.
