Anybody have Experience Cutting Down Heat in a Buggy?

My muffler is in the back under the storage area, only thing running under the buggy is the tubing.

A small fan inside the buggy will make a huge difference. I had a fan ziptied to my cage and it made all the difference in the world. I didn't notice the heat in Harlan.

You can also use boat exaust fans underneath to pull/push the heat out. Boat fans are small and fairly powerful.

Still wrap it. It will help more than you know. Is the exhaust on her side?????

It is on my side. I looked last night at adding panels under the seat to cover the tbase on the passenger side and it is really tight since the seat rests on it. Nolen, got a pic or a link to the stuff you lined your panels with? I like the fan ideas, I will look into it.

West Marine across from the Gallarea has them in stock or Roberts Sporting goods downtown will have exhaust fans.

I've done several with double walled sheetmetal with insualtion inside for the whole firewall, and parts of the tunnel. Having no open spots in the floor makes alot of difference too.

Basicly buggys are hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and wet when it's raining. It's just the price you pay for trying to be one of the cool kids.
