I've always had a good time even if we couldn't watch at funny rocks.
The event is a fund raiser designed to help keep trails open even for those of you that bitch about the rules. To follow rules that the forest service set up ONCE A YEAR is a small price to pay for the positive PR the event brings to our hobby.
As for track width, I'll admit 74" is a bit narrow due to 60.5" stock WMS on YJ's and TJ's. But...full width isn't the ticket for most of the trails cut by Jeeps before most of us were born. The trails are much wider now than they were 15 years ago and not nearly as much fun.
