Bad information. You must have misunderstood what you copied from Wikipedia. LS1 and LM7 are two different engines, so there's no LS1 (LM7) reference that is valid. LM7 is an iron block 5.3, which would indeed be 100# heavier than a L33 iron block 5.3, but no lighter than an aluminum block 5.7 LS1. LS1 was always aluminum.
