Best Propane and Mixer for built Ford 429

What's the best mixer and regualtor for a Ford 429 that is bored .40 over and stroked to a 514? Running aluminum heads and a .600 to a .620 solid lift cam. Running around 550 hp

2 - 425'S on a dual quad manifold.

i know it aint cheap, but i dont think anything for a BBF would be cheap...

there is a mixer bigger than a 425 (cant remember what it was) but it wasnt THAT much bigger... so with that in mind the 425 is the biggest (of the readily available) mixer available. i dont think you can feed that much power thru one 425...

i think it was an OHG450 mixer... like i said, not that much bigger... not enough.

most of the guys that do duals, use the adapter thingy that goes on a single carb intake and they evidently work fine... i just always thought a dual quad intake would make for a neat (orderly) install for dual mixers.

Pro Comp makes a low rise dual quad intake for the 429/460 but I would go with the adapter thingy. One throttle body to deal with.

I'm already running a Edelbrock Performer RPM intake so the adapter only makes sense to run.

Time for a update.
I got out there today and knocked out most of the engine bay work.

Cut into the hose from waterpump to heater

Added the T's

Cleaned up the hoses some

Assembled the throttle body

added the dual mixture manifold to throttle body

Added mixers to the top of it

Installed it on the 460.

Painted the first coat on the snorkel air intake.
