You could run a Chev/Jeep NP208 combo (depending which side your front diff is on) like I had planned to, before I decided NOT to throw a ton of money making a 700R4 work in my '73 J4000. Selling the pair for $100 (Jeep is fixed yoke both ways and 23 spline input with LH front. Chev is 27 spline input and rear slipyoke) Jeep chain is better than the Chev (supposed to be 1/2" wider, but the Ford one is like 1" wider and more links because it has stronger planetaries)
