Well I bought big booty judy from ben. Some of you know it and have wheeled around it. I have only been around it a handful of times but it was to good of a deal to let pass by. Im thinking of putting in under the knife ( I think she is FUGLY) and a terrible color on top of that. Im not sure if I want to change anything right now but i keep thinking about it. Anyone have any ideas to maybe make this thing look better. I like back of the buggy but dont care for the windshield bars, and sides past the b pillar.
Dont want to change anything back here

I dont like the windshield V and the eyebrow, I think it would look better with a bend in the middle,

I think the sides look good but past the B pillar it look FAT. This is how it is now

And Im thinking maybe something like this after ( I know awesome paint skills :flipoff1:)

What you guys think? I also think it would look bettter if the front end was pushed out another 3-4" and depending on what it would take I may do that also. It would prolly go silver and black or a dark red burnt orange color and black to match my new truck. Im not wantings to redo everything just make it look better. Any ideas welcome

I went a little crazy with paint tonight, came out with this

IMO this looks 100 times better then before, You will be seeing a rebuild thread very soon ;D

ditch that gay ass stinger. Put on a nose like the Campbell Class1.
I think you're onto something with the browbar, though your inverted "V" looks more Pro-2, or Pro-4 than rock buggy (aka: too wide at the top).

No input on double "B's" other than I hate'em, and it needs leaned back.

The distance from A to B pillar looks like a LONG ways. Maybe it's optical since it's since it's such a big girl. Unsure if that's really fixable tho without a ton of work from front to back

If you can move the A back some (looks like the steering column is way long) and the B fwd some I think it'd look more proportional.

Adding seats will be the biggest PITA with that H1-sized center console in that thing

Once that's done, some decent colors and some bling (the anti-Ben) and it'd be even better than int already is

Don't really dig the chassis lines at all. I would put the parts in another rig and sell what you don't need

This thing flat works for anything but racing. It was not meant to be a racer.
Travis, the inverted windshield bar won't work, those go all the way to the main frame rails on either side of the bellhousing and tie in where the subrame hits, making them structural members. You can tie in in the same place, but moving them will weaken it. It can take a roll, it is stout as fawk.
Putting a wing window bar in like wyatt's, and 100 others would help. smaller tube with a kick, break it up and close that door opening down
Paint and wheel it. Seriously, you arent going to make a prom queen out of it, it is made to go, and everything is tight on it. wheel it. That is what you bought it for. If you want something to look just how you want, start fresh.....oh wait, you did that and sold it to Guam. Paint it and wheel it after changing 4 tubes on it. :flipgotcha:

the nose needs some love. i think that could change the whole look after you change the doorbar.

make it a fender bar in the rear, where it does the double hump scallop thing, make it one arc and wrap the tube all the way to the back with a small "bedside" type sheet on it, like Mike does on the Jimmy's he builds.
I think wyatt is on the right track for wing window bar. it will be hard to match that side contour with another bar above it, but it could be done.

Add in the wing window bar will help & get rid of the dip on the side near the pedals
Since its Structural you can't lose the "A" but you could cut it out & make a small X right there & redo the top windshield bar to match.
Do like Blacksheep says & lose the scallops & put in 1 big sweep then wrap all the way around the back a couple of inches below the existing bar

Oh, and lose the stinger

i dont like the fender area either, if you snagged a HF roller.....you could roll some nice radius fender tubes.......
and I played with the door bar a bit.

I have thought about building a new chassis but I dont want to build another buggy, I want to be wheeling all year and while its winter I would like to pretty this thing up and wheel it. I know its never going to be the best looking out there i just want it to look better then it does now. Wyatt that looks good and I may just do that. Yes I also dont like the front stinger. I think changing the color would help a ton. ya tranny comes out the top.

On wyatt's last two renderings I finally see your glaring need for a different or more B pillar. Even if it were aesthetic.
I like the last one you drew, and the brow could stand to change, but it isn't worse than the rest of the rig, not that its really that damn bad. Just off a bit.

Maybe something like that as far as B pillar and a little more side removed. I love the double b pillars and I think it makes it look alot better. Also change the eye brow, just not sure what I should do up front?
