The lockrings were all but destroyed on my WE's that came on my buggy.
So after about ten hours of EZ-outing 96 thread inserts, thread chasing 96 5/16" holes, installing 96 threaded inserts, polishing, then tightening 96 said bolts. Here's what I ended up with early (2am) Saturday morning. They are already mounted on the buggy but I did that in the dark Saturday night and now its on my trailer in storage ready to rock tomorrow. More pics to follow come Monday.

Polished Walker Evans wheels, Polished CWI C-3 flushmount lock rings, and the new compound 39" BFG Red labels. I'm drool and their mine. :flipoff1:

The CWI's were $10 cheaper per ring than WE, and 10'x more bling for the buck. Now I've got a set that looks different than 99% of the WE's you'll see out there.

Those are fully bling, they look beautiful. I also totally hate the fact that you have working beadlocks and I have these rollers from P :flipoff1:

now go do burnouts and break them bitches in
I did do a 3/4 throttle front dig on the street in front of the shop at 11:30 at night when I was loading it up on Saturday. That surely pissed off all the neighbors.

HA! I think I see from these pics and from Wyatt's previous comments what the downfall of team Triple Nickel will be. Wyatt's "show truck" mentality has crept over into his race buggy mentality. He'll be penalized out of every comp for refusing to go thru muddy obstacles! I can see Kelly having to take over the controls early in the season! :flipoff1:

Dem are purty wheels though!

its gonna be like a drivers ed car only instead of 2 brake pedals there'll be 2 gas pedals. I give it the juice and he decides what to do with it laughing

It is drive by wire, so...... How weird would that be.....

I do hate mud, but you know sometimes you just have to stick it in and jiggle it about, and worry about clean up afterwards.
Yeah I don't think I'll have a problem gettin it. Its going to be fixing what we destroy that actually concerns me.

Anyone know the perfect PSI for 39" Red labels?

NowIi'm aired, and ready to roll. I aired them to 12psi for the haul, because I swear somewhere I read they burp real bad on the inside bead below 10.

Nolen?
