This is what I did with mine. A simple pipe fender cover/bed widener. Its a 16' trailer and tows my 123" wheelbase rig beautifully.

Now if you were way back in the middle of nowhere with a blown engine or some kind of catastrophic failure.. no power steering, no power brakes and a long way to the truck would bring the suck... unless you had this little trail toter. Might have to put 2 rigs in tow on the up hills but I'd say it beats the alternative.

I saw that one years back on pirate but couldn't find the thread again. Its my favorite so far and possibly the one I'll copy the most.

My trailer down under, has it's up and downs.




And this is one of the downfalls when you have a land rover engine and a dedicated buggy trailer

This one is by far my favorite! Only weighs 800 LBS and sits SUPER low. This was made to tow a jeep on 40"s behind a V-6 Astro Van.

A lot of boat trailers are single axle and pull just fine. As long as you get the weight in the right spot they shouldn't whip.
