Bump Stops???

I heard late model silverados and xterras...

Just looking for what everyone else is doing and what they are pulling them from...

I need to build the brackets still...

Ive used them form all kinds of stuff I end up collecting. Sometimes ya need a stud mount and sometimes ya have room for a couple tabs to get tacked on.

I would go to the wrecking yard and wander around till I seen the perfect one for my application. At the same time making note of other good parts I see along the way.

Yeah, I planned on hitting Pull-a-Part and walking around in circles...

As far as the pathy ones, they probably wont work... I'm gonna need something that is more solid...

Mazda's have some nice bump stops. Next time one comes in I'll snap a pic. But they kinda look like the Daystar bump stops.

98 or so gm was a good era for them too. The tahoes have soft urethane stops front and rear. My truck used to sit on the front ones and they were really not all that bad. Not like a daystar or whatever that is super hard and bumpy. They are a single stud mount too. The rear ones off the same tahoe are single stud but about 4" long and round with progressive steps. Rears off of a truck are more like the standard 2 bolt flange mount style and harder urethane.

I pulled a set of rears off of a 97 blazer and they are single bolt in the middle and about 7" tall with big progressive steps. I'll be trying them out soon. :D

I get these from a local tire shop for a couple of bucks a piece. Single stud mount, not progressive obviously or real soft, but they're pretty handy.

I have used recycled bump stops...need new ones now due to all the changes I have done to the front of my Jeep but I need a bit more than a little door stop sized bump and airbumps are out due to $
been looking at those 4 1/2" poly ones for 50 bucks

Here are the ones I use, they are off a 1990s Chev 4x4 rear. 3"x3"x2" solid rubber. Alot of the race jeeps use them too. This set came from Billybobs

that is what I just pulled out of my Jeep, they did the job but a bit violent on hard landings

I think I'm gonna go with something like that...

I need it to stop the up travel before my tires get into everything...

I've got plenty of droop... I just need something that's not gonna be crazy harsh when it hits the stops, but defiantly limits...
