Glad to see y'all not waste your time on stiffeners with a budget beater rig. No sense in all that. The head to head should be pretty dang close. He's got you on gearing. But you've got him on weight and some other parts.

Mine has a cage so that should help. I plan to add some sliders welded to the body to help stiffen it up as well.

I was being sincere. For a jeep built for a short, budget series, it really isn't necessary. But if ya'll are continuing the beatdowns and episodes, then yea, I'd get to plating.

Watched Bleepin's today. I'll watch yours tomorrow. What's with calling the allied wheels racelines? I saw where bleepin did it in his build video(While the camera was aimed at the allied logo), and then I think y'all both did it this last one. I assume mistake, but wasn't sure if it was a sponsor thing?

OR am I way off and allied is owned by race line??

What'd you end up breaking in the rear end?

We did something similar a couple of years ago with two old beater Toyotas. However, we did the whole trip without a trailer. We drove both trucks from north Alabama to Montrose, Colorado then did the rim rocker trail from Montrose to Moab. This trail was not extreme, but it was 160 miles on dirt. Once we got to Moab, we hit the majority of the famous trails and obstacles Moab has to offer. We found a couple of old crappy camper shells for the trucks and actually camped out of the back of the truck the whole trip. Fortunately both trucks survived Moab and we drove them back to Alabama. We put around 3500 miles on a '79 and an '84 Toyota in about 10 days. It was an epic trip.

Dang! @MoparMan tell me you are the one they were making fun of in the video!
Been thinking about getting an XJ for family/daughter to ride when I got buggy out.
videos were actually pretty informative on the build ups. Good job.
