Buying a house...

Here is the house, closing is not until the 27th of july :crybaby:

3 BR, 2BA ranch. 1 car garage that is deep enough for both car and bike. It will also keep me from buying more toys!! Finished basement with fireplace, screened in porch out back and its' far from flat. Hardwood floors, etc. Nice solid 1960's Wonder Years kinda place. Cheapest house in the neighborhood by $20-40K which makes me happy.

Oh and yes the garage goes into the basement via a door. My house in KC was similar, but th basement was not finished and was 100% open = TONS of space to string tools out and never pick them up ;D

I had closing at the 13th, but they got a bit nervous since they have yet to find a house and it's only been on the market 2-3 weeks. Since it makes no difference to me since I am living rent free, it helps them out and got me the house.

Matt (bro in law) told me this morning they have 2 enclosed trailers they never use at work. I could have my containers emptied into them, stop paying rent AND get my motorcycle back!!! Why he just thought of this, I have no idea. lol I hope he was serious, that'd be SICK! :flipoff1:

Sweet crib bones, enough room to build a shop in the back one day for the sweet buggy you are gonna buy!!!

Yeah Paul it sure is similar, just a nicer neighborhood. ;D

Matt, there is NO way a shop can be built on that lot let alone get anything back to it between the houses. POint I am making, there will be no buggy or rig in my future up here :drinkers:

build an awning for $800 keep the vitara outside under the awning and the bike and the buggy in the garage, problem solved :flipoff1:

The driveway has a pad to the left for the Vitty if/when I get another bike :flipgotcha:

No buggy for me, then I need a trailer, tow rig and $$. All of which I have none of.

I think you can make it happen one day given the space you have. Our house that just sold on the other hand was not capable at all, a garden home is to land locked to pull something like that off. Nice crib

I will get you an elevation at the street, garage door, front door and back porch, then the top of the lot by the fence. I bet there is 40+ feet of fall

Retaining walls are not cheap. Structural building walls are ridonkulously exspensive.

Easement along both lot lines 5'/side = no room for a drive to get back if it was possible.

Solution if I HAD to have a shop? Buy some cheap/flat land with one on it, rent one, or use my parents 30x40 2 hours to the north. Too bad it's full of Dad's Lund and Sdime they keep there to pull it/general errands.
