Camper ?

Northern Lite http://www.northern-lite.com/
Bigfoot http://www.bigfootrv.com/

Both of these campers are fiberglass and built like a two piece boat, hold up very well and have been made for a long time, so you can usually find them on craigslist. They typically cost a bit more than the traditional rotting camper, but you get what you pay for.

Ya I really like the 2 piece fiberglass styles...

Dang wife wants a motorhome though

Problem with a motorhome is you now have a second vehicle to take care of--one that sits and even though usually has low miles it takes a toll on them. Plus my truck is built to tow.

Enclosed with living quarters, then you can still utilize your truck

I don't want an enclosed trailer. I just want something I can throw on the dodge and head either to the hills or down the coast.

Spend the money on a good camper...you won't regret it. Give it some good amenities and the Mrs. will be happy. I bought a cheap camper and it fell apart. Gave it away, literally. Now I'm saving up for a nice unit and just be done with it. Do it once.....

I would love a motorhome. But once you set up camp, you're stuck. I won't be able to live with that. A toy hauler is in the near future.

Best of both worlds.........:redneck:

Hey Mike, I don't get on here much anymore but I am thinking about selling my 2001 Lance 8.6 lite. It's got all the stuff you want and it's in nice shape. Plus I can show you what I know about it. It does need a few small things to be perfect but that could help you out on the price. The wife and I don't use it so it sits in my shop, covered. If you are interested and want to have a look, call me. 425-327-2427.
