I know this may be a stretch but I have seen the same thing. In fact it happened to me. My motor mount failed and under torque the fan grabbed the rad and busted the water pump, fan, and belt. Im not saying thats what happened but I would check it out before you fire it back up with all new parts. :corn:

Ya I didnt think of it either and learned the hard way. I was lucky and decided to run an electric fan so when I fired it back up the motor was just jumpin around and not hittin anything. Good luck man.

They might replace the pump for mothin, but your ****ed on damage.

Nope put a hole in the hood, Paid for all the repairs and car rental
