Carrier bearing caps

I have a Currie rock jock D60 center here and I can feel the edge with my fingernail where the caps meet the center on it and it is brand new, never had the caps off yet.

should I worry?

There should be "zero" lip

Edit--loosen the cap bolts and see if the cap slides over a bit. There is some variance in the holes for the bolts.

I have no issue with most of it, except the silly nissan stuff that is rediculously expensive.. I set of gears is nearly 500 bones.

Good news is, cams are getting cheaper.:cheer:

We found two from two different chevy housings that fit pretty well. We're putting 50 dollar used 4.10's in this housing, so things go all shitty on us it's no big loss and we'll find another housing.

it will be fine for what its used for. Would I do that in a daily driver and drive to montana and back, probably not...
