The front end is new set up by crash I know there isn't a problem besides the tires getting a little squirrelly when you hit a pot hole

LOL.... if you are experiencing either death wobble or bump steer, there's a problem somewhere

angle in the draglink is what usually causes bump steer

Death wobble is caused by the front wheels not wanting to stay at center. The front wheels basically flop violently from left to right and can be triggered by road irregularities or bumps. Two causes are not enough caster to make the wheels want to return to center and loose steering components allowing the wheels to flop.

you'd be amazed it how much something like a loose nut/bolt or a worn bushing can effect those steering components. i'd double check and see if something is loose. check TRE's, pitman arm, steering box, ect...

if you have either, it will only get worse. If you have your suspension/steering dialed in correctly, a steering stabilizer isn

The only thing I don't recall checking was caster--something worth a check along with the bushings on the springs/shackles.

Again adding a dampener to the tie rod will be more effective since death wobble starts with the tires/tie rod and travels up from there. So adding one to the drag link will be far less effective.

Updates since the transmission is at strange to get built gonna take some time to do some updates and make it sit lower. Pulled a leaf from the 63's and changed the rear shackles to lower it a little. Gonna source a flat pitman and some shorter springs for the front maybe Rufs we will see. :awesomework:

New transmission will be done soon had Will at strange auto redo it with these upgrades, install billet intermediate sprague race, wide low sprague (700R4), center support lugs, increase clutches in third/reverse clutch pack.and rebuilt T/C with a small stall two-year warranty 900.

I ran my shackles like that for quite awhile with no real issues. When I moved my front axle forward I put more angle on them and prefer that more now.

Seems like my suspension is more live on the front especially with down travel. Thought is the shackle is now moving rather than already being at its down state with the previous setup. Kind of a up travel vs down debate IMO which ever you prefer

Yeah my spring hangar is already pushed forward. We will see how it does once the tranny is back in and I can break them in a little
