Built Toyota axle aught to hold up just fine

5 lug Dana 60? I ought to call this guy up, get him to meet me with the truck, and kick him in the ****ing nuts for blatantly lying. I know that motherfucker doesn't have a Spidertrax 5 lug 60 under the rear, if he did he'd sure as **** have the funds to put more than a Toyota axle up front.

It appears to be a 6 lug Dana 60 which are rare-ish but are out there. It's a semi-float that could be found under older Chevy/GMC 1500's with the 396/th400 combo. There were also a few Jeep trucks that had them but the GM versions are more common...still rare though.

Re:

It used to be real common to cut the spindles off a ff60 and weld toyota axle bearing cups on, to use Toyota shafts.

I've considered doing it just to be able to run low gears (6.17/7.17) and not shred ring gears, but keep the overall weight and width of the axle down.
