Thats us man, crawl it, flog it, keep on rollin. And like Travis said a guide will be most welcome, I keep a 150qt cooler respectively named Big Whitey ;) on my truck to help relax after a long day on the trail :drinkers: I hope I'll be alright with 42's,5.44@ the stack,5.38s in the axles, w/an auto behind a healty LT1? As of now I'm looking at heading down Sept. 26th. I assume these places are wheelable during the wk as well?
Have diesel(and spare parts) Will travel.

I will hit Clayton this year. I am thinking early October if we qualify for XRRA Finals in September. If we dont qualify, I'd be down for that Sept weekend meeting up there.

Reason #42 why I don't compete......spending all my wheeling time and money running around to race 1 hour all year....nice molaugh

As for Clayton, during the week is perfect, no one will be there at all. Great time of year too, hopefully we can come join you.

You're slow if you're racing 1 full hour a year :flipoff1:

Send me the dates you decide on and I will try and get out there to lead you around. I love Clayton!

As much as our crew has been going, we will probably be out there anyway. I've been out there so much that they have just started reserving me a room. I just call them and tell them when I am NOT coming, so they can take me off the ledger. molaugh

Yeah, that was funny ****. Greg, owner of the A & A, was sitting around the fire drinking beer with us the other night and he starts telling David what all dates he has us down for. I was like WTF is he talking about??? Now that is fawking service right there. thumb.gif

A&A Motel, less than 5 minutes to Green Acres from there.
And you can walk across the street to the Bulldog for breakfast and walk down the sidewalk at night for pizza at Simple Simons. When you arrive you do not even have to crank your truck while until you get ready to leave. A town that is only 1.7 square miles everything is within walking distance.

I love the Clayton Lake State Park. It is a beautiful place to camp and rent cabins. If ou atre going to stay a few days, or it os camping weather, I highly recommend it.

If you have someone that needs a little nicer accomidations, the Clayton Country Inn in 1 mile south of town and they have a great restaurant for dinner and a so-so cont. breakfast. Rooms are really nice, same $ as the AA and much nicer, just not walking distance to town stuff.
