I had my radiator flat and could never get the air out. With out a thermostat or some kind of restrictor it will never get the air out! Ive since moved it behind the seats the fill is the highest point, and it works much better. With mine I pull the rear up on the trailer and fill it while buggy is not running(I have drilled out stat) and let it sit. I bought a radiator cap with a big funnel on the top. I fill it and let it sit over night, crank it up let it get hot, and top off. This is a tough problem and will make you consider moving it to the front of the buggy. :****:

What hes asking is if it will matter if the water from the pump goes in the top or bottom of radiator !

If there is no air at all it won't. If it ever gets low it will be sucking air from the top. If you are sucking from bottom it's most likely to always be sucking water.

On my buggy we backed it up a hill and filled then let it run and keep topping off. It will get hot and puke a bunch but it will work its self out.

bought a new radiator just to elimanate to air sucking problem so maybe we can have it going in a day or 2 thanks for all the help.... thumb.gif
