cut Boggers

nealcj8 said:
what did yall cut them with? just a regular grooveing iron?

I helped a buddy groove some boggers. The first tire we used a sawzall with a new blade; it was a pain in the ass. We searched Pirate and found out how Dan Dibble did his. He advice was to take a sawzall blade and grind the teeth off, then grind one side to make a single sided knife. We tried it and it worked really well.

Get a big chisel with a plastic or rubber handle heat it up with a torch and slide it rite thru iti :****: poor mans groover thumb.gif

Ive seen the wood chisel method on youtube...looks like alot of work...i would just pay someone to do it with a good groover like mine...i dont know what anyone out your way charges but I have charged 100$ to cut small lugs off 4 boggers and no one has complained about it a bit ,i can do a 44" tsl or bogger in about a hour each depending on how much ya want done to it

you got some of them new Red Bull tires with wings to help ya fly TCameron?? or something from NASA off the moon? post some pics...or another video of you trying to wedge yourself in one! :wtflol:

We don't all have the money to buy new tires and cut them up like you do TC. some of us just have to make due with what we got :dblthumb:

I grooved a set of boggers with a wood chisel and wound up getting chemical pneumonia. it was cold outside and the shop wasn't ventilated very well.
There were 3 of us in the shop , and all of us got sick.
