They are not the same stuff Choppy, close, but NOT the same... or there would not be two... They are a different composition & constistency. I have NEVER seen the R.S. go liquidy... I use them both...UG At work, AND I will still spend the money on The Right Stuff at home...:awesomework:

I agree with that on lots of things but this isn't one of them. The right stuff is different. It dries to a higher durometer than rtv and it sticks much better too.

The RIght Stuff also seels a "grey" sealant of thir own.

Well **** I may just do a new gasket ...i just hate takin it apart that far when it runs so good lol

+1 on the right stuff, just get a caulk gun and buy the tube of it...not the overpriced self charged tube.
