Do they differ with the carrier difference or are they the same for all gear ratios?
i.e. Will spider gears from a 3.73- diff work in a 3.92+ diff?

Yes they are the same between ratios.
The only differences would be really old 44's with 19 splines, or later model varients of the d44 like the 44hd aluminum grand cherokee diff etc.
