Dating chicks with kids... things to not say/do?

first, what's her name, I won't say ****, just got to know laughing1
don't meet the kid. What may seem casual to you might be life changing to a kid. they see someone mom is with as someone trying to step into their dad's shoes, assuming dad was ever in the pic. Its tough, but I couldn't imagine my SD not being around. She still looks up to me more than her own dad who is a constant dissapointment. Problem is that if you say, hmm, no big deal, cross that bridge if it comes......what if that bridge does come. You willing to be a step dad? If you can honestly say its time to settle down MAYBE if she's right, give it a shot. What if **** clicks and you guys really dig each other. Then you meet the kid. then you get serious. Then it gets too real and you feel trapped, panic and bail. That's horribly unfair to her and the kid.
