Death Wobble on New SAS rig

Actually to my knowledge toyota front housing's are set at right around 0 degrees caster factory, I know for a fact cruiser's are set at + 1 degree on the driver's side and - 1 degree on the passenger side for road crown, and I believe pickup's are similar as far as not having the knuckles rolled too far back. 7 degrees is a long way's to roll the knuckles back with you're toyota housing I would shoot for about 4 degrees.

More like 2-3 degrees--but still crappy non the less. Cut/rotate the knucles to 7 degrees and all will be happy... if you roll the housing your damn pinion will be way down in the dirt....

Like I said, I'm not for sure on the setting's of a minitruck housing, but I do know cruiser setting's, and I could have sworn I have been told pickup's came out of the box without much caster. I've been wrong before and I may be wrong again:cheer: At any rate, 4 or 5 degree's would be prime.

7 degree's is awefully sluggish, depend's on the type of use it will be seeing.

True but I have seen alot of guys still having problems with death wobble art 4 degrees with everything else in place correct( granted this is what was told not what was validated)

Hmm oh well, a combination of that and about an 1/8" toe in I have had no complaint's, I guess every vehicle has it's own set of quirk's.

High pinion. I'd never run a standard diff on a toy front axle.

Forgot you have one---only in the front :awesomework:

My rig was the same way way back when and I never had any issues also--except I toed mine out 1/8"

I am running V6 thirds front and rear but with no driveshaft yet. I am going to make that one today. Hey Crash, my next big project will be gathering the parts for a 4.3 swap. Too many fasteners have fallen off or sheared off on my 3.0 to really want to rebuild it. Hope to make an appointment for my rig with you at the end of September.

THere sure is allot of stupid pointless chatter in here for someone who is just trying to get rid of a toe wobble. I agree with the toe question. Check that, make sure you have a tad of Toe In, and check your end links to be sure they are still in good order.

apparently you don't understand the importance of caster.

No, I was just referring to Darius vs Gabe. They both very passionate about their posts. :corn:

I guess you could say I'm passionate about my post's, when you don't post bullshit you should be. why would you post if it's not what you feel?
