Do I bring this to my employers attention?

I got a raise last week, typical 3% jobber. Get my check this morning and they jipped me to the tune of a 2.58% raise. Does not amount to much since I make peanuts, but do I bring this up to the accounting lady or just let it slide. Give it a few years and it will make a difference yo.

I bet they gave you a 3% annual raise and across the 26 pay periods in a year on a bi-weekly basis it works out to 2.58% per pay period.

If you were a twice a month guy, it would be 3% per peiod, but on a bi-weekly schedule there are 2 more pay periods in the year.


Figure it, I'll bet I'm right.

I have 13 guys that work for. I get questions like that all the time. They are all traders and try to extract every $ out of me they can. We pay bi-weekly, so I've had to answer that question no less than 40 times in the past 4 years.
