So im assuming the fan doesn't spin when the truck gets to temp? I've been running without a shroud for over a year now without any problems. I did replace my t-stat with a good one and it dropped over 10 degrees. :awesomework:

Hell ya you did! It was cool seein you guys up there, ever run into any snow? Some guys in jeeps said they did. Thanks for the input guys ill screw with it once i get some time off work to do anything but sleep and eat.

I just put a late 90s mustang fan on my tacoma cause they didnt have any taurus fans. it moves lots of air but I had to cut the hell out of it to get it to fit. bought an adjustable thermo switch from autozone for $35 works great. if I had to do it again I would look some more for a taurus or mark VIII fan.

I have no shroud on mine an have ZERO issue's ....you might have a ba Rad or fan clutch:awesomework:

New shroud and new fan clutch.
And make sure your radiator isn't all plugged, both inside and out.
