enclosed trailer drama- what to do

So being registered as an RV, does that mean anyone competent enough to acquire a class C driver's license can pilot this rig down the interstate?

My understanding (entirely possible that my understanding is not correct) and depending on the state, the license requirements are even less than that. And if I am incorrect, please correct me.

My understanding is that if the tow vehicle (even one's with air brakes and GCVW's exceeding 26,001) is registered as an RV, then it can be driven with a standard drivers licenses just like the 30,000 pound Class A diesel pusher being driven by the 80 year old grandpa (aka @CHASMAN9) :rolf:. Meaning it's weight exempt, non-CDL, non-weigh station, and non-driver logs (health requirements) etc.

Poking the bear a bit, got any updates on the enclosed trailer?

Oh the bear has been poked today..... douche.

So they cancelled the order on me. Apparently the manufacturer cancelled all orders for Proline trailers and they aren't honoring price or anything like that. So i'm currently in the market for either an enclosed trailer or a gooseneck with a camper. Enclosed I'd like 20-24', v nose, at least 7' rear door height. Bonus points for ac and/or insulated. Will go gooseneck enclosed for the right one in the right price range. Gooseneck with a camper I'm fairly open. Would like something I wont have to turn around and put a bunch of time/money into. $10k to spend but for the right deal can add more.

What are friends for :rolf:

Just quoted one from a different manufacture close to what it was and it's not $14k for what i ordered for $9k 6 months ago.

Ah, then your problem is solved :)
I don't know, if they held my money for 6 months I'd be screaming for something more than a refund. How many deal opportunities did he miss waiting on them for **** around for 6 months and not deliver?

Businesses don't give two shits anymore. It's a seller's economy and they don't care if they lose one cause they got a line of em waiting

Found one semi local with most of what I want going to look tomorrow. Still more than 1500 than what I was going to pay and not insulated. But guess we will see what happens.
