heading south after work on saturday, will be spending the night in either lacey or puyallup, was wondering if there was anyone who would be willing to show me around evans creek. and also show me to it, as i have no idea where it is.:hi:

Also remember to get a NW Forest pass, you can pick one up in Burnett, as they now require it to run the trails.

erh? It's required only to park and leave a vehicle, unless you have official reference for this claim it's nothing but heresay. This rumor has been going around for years.

no, i know about it. but i dont really like being at reiter when there are tons of people up there. it gets a little too crowded for my tastes.

Still need the pass even if you don't park. I had them stop me and ask if I had a pass last time I was there. :stirpot:

Yeah, that was some incorrect info that got around... you need the pass to wheel to... So what... it's $5. Hopefully some of it will be seen in some trail maintenance.

yep you need the pass. Just ask the ranger as their writting you a ticket for not having one. 80% of the cost stays local for trail repairs here. the other 20% goes to DC for general use by the FS

Prove it. :stirpot: I'd like to see their paperwork stating that. ;)
