apparently, thats not the point. the point is that you dont have to have a pass to wheel at evans creek, but if you dont have one, you will get ticketed.:eeek:
EXACTLY! Nowhere does it say we need a pass to wheel in any of their documentation. Evan's is piled in with all the hiking trails and camping/picnic stops where you have needed a pass for years. People do these activities at Evan's as well as wheeling. But we don't need a pass to drive to the other type areas if we're not staying, why should we need one to wheel through evans?
Besides, the most of the money stays in the area claim is true. But, how much do WE see? Pretty much none of it. The money goes to repairing the main roads, fixing picnic tables, cleaning up garbage, signage, etc. Not to 4x4 trail building and repairs, only hiking trails.
