I put my silencer ring back in when I put the cone filter on. It was actually kind of annoying on the highway without it. Now it's got a nice whistle... sounds like a semi-truck. Now I just need to get rid of the muffler and I'll be good to go.

I just did a straight pipe on mine...

I think that's what I'm gonna do too, but I want to leave the resonator thing-a-ma-bob to keep it a little bit quieter.

Yes, i would be too, my aunt and uncle live up near granite, right by the lochsley store, they are keeping there eyes peeled, there is a field right across the street that ppl go tear up, and dump stolen cars, maybe something will turn up there?? I'll go for another drive tomorrow.

What AFE kit did you go with. Is it just a 4" kit, or are there options on the muffler?

The 4" turbo back system. They only offer one muffler and----its perfect,lol

So--who else likes to drive with there passenger window down to hear the wonderful noises...
