Yeah if you get the front and the back, and they are clear #'s. Then they are big bucks! $400 or higher. The problem in Cali and why the black plates are run up so much is that Cali started reusing numbers. Last I knew they were most of the way through all of the 1950's.MUCHADO said:really? New York plates worth any??? Know of a set of 30's or 40's new york plates... forget year I'd have to check..

New York wont let your run YOM plates, but depending on the year they may be something to a collector. I collect plates (DORK) so I may be interested. Pretty much any Kansas or Texas plate, and selectively other states.
