Just a heads up, THIS Saturday there is a special work party to get work done on the Ridge Ram Trail...Gatekeepers will be going in at each end, with 2to3 man rock being planted on the hillclimb end...Bring your P.P.E. if you would like to come help out---there will be two excavators, and a couple rock haulers on site...some manual labor is eminent, in final placement, and locking in the rocks....
If you are not planning on helping out, be prepared to be blocked at either end of this section for the day...And thanks in advance for being cordial in the event you are stopped! :awesomework:
See you there! :awesomework: Afterwards, those that don't have to work will likely be heading out for a few hrs to wheel...

I wish, but this is what they have avail... Hope to see ya there Sam.:awesomework:

PPE... As in gloves and boots.. Or are you talking about a harness and ropes...?

Might be down for this... Anything to help the hobby!

Was also thinking rain gear... Then thought of the MOST important PPE... Cold tasty beverages! Lol

No, seriously... What do I/we need up there? I'm down to come help out in any way I can...

I might be in for this. What is the meet time and place? Oops sorry I guess that was in the title.

I'm still new to the walker area... Only been there once, and came in from the walker orv park side...

I've done work at lake Cavenaugh before... But I don't know specifically where to enter walker from that side... Some directions would be handy cause cell service stops at the lake...

You know I'm usually down, but Twila wants her dad home. Do good work!!:awesomework:
No sweat brudda--take care of your new daughter! :awesomework:

I think PPE involves hard hat gloves boots and maybe a shovel? lol
Yep, Hardhat, eye protection, and gloves...Bring a shovel if you have one available, or possibly a rock bar...

Once you turn up Lk Cavanaugh Rd, head in about 3 miles past Peter Burns Rd....I believe it's about 6.5 miles in total---the road/gate will be on your left. You could also come in from the main lot, and wheel your way up to the area being worked on, doesn't take that long to get there by trail either...:awesomework: I may well be doing this myself, but won't know till tomorrow night...:redneck:

If possible, I'd like to come in from the walker orv park entrance.. Then wheel in.. Sounds like a good time... I've got an ancient hard hat... Left my other one at work though... Might have a few large bars to bring for rock adjustments... Will look for them and load up today...

there not meeting at the south entrance peter burns road and lake cavanaugh rd

Jim C. will be at the main lot to meet folks that choose to come in by trail, wouldn't be a bad idea to leave the main lot by 8:50 or so to get to the area to be worked on...otherwise, just head up the Cavanaugh Lk Rd, again the meet time at the end of the road is 9...

My junk is loaded

I will come out and run whatever equipment is needed and test the stability of what we have done too

...Should be a good day. A couple of us are stopping at the Big Rock for breaky---7:30am sharp...:awesomework:
I will be driving up to the work site trailer and all, as I work in the late afternoon, and don't need to be having something happen between the area, and the main lot while headed out......:hello:
