Finally got a wheeler!!

Nothing to say? I was really hoping to hear some more of your fabricated B.S. Lamar. Man your a bitch.:rb:

Dear Rix;
Obviously, I must be pretty good at what I do, because I am still doing it and I am getting well paid! You own a Corolla? I had the impression there was a very feminine side to you, my non-macho friend.
Your friend;
LAMAR

My corolla isn't anywhere near stock..... my flower picture posting friend.:eeek:
Actually the only things left stock are the sheet metal and the transmission.:awesomework:
I also have a cressida (so I must be old?)
A 68 datsun roadster (I must be.... uh...something?)
A pair of 69 coronas ( I must be.... uh.....something else?)
A 72 AMC Javelin (I must be.... uh..... something else?)
Come on, help me out here.

On a not-so-side note...... this thread is seriously de-railed.

On another note.... Lamar....my friend..... I might know a little secret about you....:fawkdancesmiley:

Man nate do i feel like a complete tool. I cant beleive i ran a welded rear end all these years. I sure wish our freind latard would have been around to tell us and half the club and wheelin comunity the chance of death was so high for running a welded rear end. And the 10 plus spring overs ive done for well under a grand including wrap bars and material must have all been completly wrong. Also do you think that maybe we are all world class drivers for not eating **** everytime we hit ice.... I think i might become a pro drifter cause were some bad ass mofos up her in the great nw... And nate remember you have to have lockers front and rear to go places. I must have thaught all those places ive been were trails gues we dont compare. My next wheeler is gonna be a lowered toyota with lockers and no hi lift.

its hard for me to post pics with my pos laptop i use a verison card for inter net and i live im the middle of the boonies bro so you will see some nacheeeeeeeees pics soon poll smoker.

Wow this thread has gone completely off the deep end.

First off let me add that everyone does their own thing and thinks that it's the right way.... :looser: For those of us who have wheeled somewhat stock Toyota's "locally" for some time... There is an order which works the best for us.

1. Armor (unless you really don't care)
2. closely followed by Tires (best improvement for any rig)
3/4 lockers (anything under 33's I wouldn't worry about dropping 500$ on longs) but if your thinking about going any larger, they're a must.
5. lift in order to get larger tires
6. duals
7. 3/4link
8. sell it and buy a tube buggy. :D

To the OP, what are your aspirations with the rig? DD/weekend warrior? if so then you have more then enough lift. Whats your budget? Do you care about body damage? Ask yourself these questions and you should be able to conjure up a plan for what you should do to your rig.

Lamar, to say that longs are no good shows how much of an idiot you are. Any true wheeler running toyota running gear has one type of axles, Longfields. Then again maybe you're a D60 whore who just doesn't understand.

If this were my rig i would go but a 160 dallor full spool and get some trail gear rock sliders and and go have a blast but the rock sliders are a must cause thats a got a lot of body. And building a set of sliders would be pretty easy too. I love these fj60s you dont see them in the woods and their basicly like a cheaper 4 runner. for gearing if you wanted to gear it down a little.One easy way is to change the case over to an fj40 3 speed case. Their lower geared and its an easy swap. Good luck and let me know if you need parts cause we got a parts 60.
