My buddy Mike came by again today and helped me with some more stuff. Some of the pictures arent really exciting or anything but as Mike mentioned its a good way to document the work should I never need to go back and remember what I did.

Today was about adding the gaskets, adding washers/loctite, adding fluids, and bolting everything under the belly for the last time. I had everything in there temporarily earlier just so I could mock stuff up. Anyway we started by tearing down my drivetrain.

From there we "poured in performance".

then set the torque converter in place:

then used my ghetto tranny jack.... dont be jealous:

from there and while the junk was out, it was decided I hadnt removed enough of my floor. Cutoff wheel and sawzall were broken out again:

Then the 400 was put up in place... then onto the adapters:

Oh yeah, my rear driveline showed up from High Angle too. 1350 cv with a 1410 at the diff. Front driveline should be here next week:

Be sure to plug all the other remaining rotation adapter holes on your doubler for the coupling piece. I had that doubler and as soon as i put it in, it started leaking, i was told to put allen head bolts in the remaining holes. I put a little RVT on them and that solved my problem.

On the 203 side or 205 side?

I know for sure it was the 205 side. the bolts at the bottom were leaking pretty good. I just got some stubby allen bolts (make sure they don't go in too far!) i think they had a 1/2" shank at best! something to just plug the holes. I would bet the 203 side will need them too. And I was able to do mine while they were in the truck. i bought a cheapy allen wrench and cut it down to fit in the limited space and got them in pretty easy. :awesomework: I'll see if i can find a pic or two.

Here's a pic of the 205 side holes that were leaking on mine. this is the bottom-most set of holes. even after i plugged these and ran it, it started leaking out the next set up. so i said screw it and plugged them all.

If you look close you can see the oil dripping down the case.:booo:

Good tip. Thanks for the heads up. I looked through the baggy of stuff he sent along and found the little allens. Ill put a little thread seal on them and get them tight.

little more to update. I started to build my propane tank "mount" which also will have the duty as my upper shock mounts and be the inner fenderwell.

still need to add some dimple die speed holes in the plate:

filled my coilovers tonight.

I had an extra acetylene tank so I talked the guy at airgas to let me trade it in for a nitrogen tank and then I robbed my co2/argon regulator off my co2 tank that I was using for my onboard air and used it for my "nitrogen charging kit"... I scored the "tire inflater" in the bargain bin at air gas too. It was whole $9.97 and the dude said I could bring it back if breaks. I cant believe powertank charges like $500 bucks for these. I've swear I've got less than $50 bucks into the set up.

Anyway, I charged the front coilovers. I was surprised how little nitrogen acutally seemed to go into them.
