Flipping chevy Dana 44

I have a 79 ford dana 44 3/4 ton axle complete take 300 for it if this helps

If he flips it and doesn't have a rear engine it will spin backwards , the front will drive backwards and the back will be normal ... Won't work

Wouldn't flipping it also cause the knuckles to be upside-down?
