Well I have been watching, reading, while planning my build on this site for a few years now/

finally have gotten to the point where I guess ill post It.. don't know if ill be excepted here but worth a shot lol
after this truck all all built how I want it I will be building a full tube chassis and sliding all my gear into it.

anyway

not going to bore you.. but here is how this turd started (2013)

bit bulls, bead locks, cross oversteering, very little lift, duel tcases,4 speed, 355

ford front springs

wheeled a little, broke it

Moved from vancover island to alberta. truck sat for a while till I went back and got it
Changed the cage up, newseats, rebuilt the duel t cases, auto swap

wheeled it once like this.. jumped it.. buckled the front leafs, pulled the front end out, ran out of money then it sat for a year

pushed it in the trees for a while

built a diesel Toyota in the mean time

this how it its now. is goin on links

Re: Full body chev

Also to the OP. Keep an eye on off-road design. They make great kits for full size Chevys and know them well. **** works!!

Haha, I'll found out some info and let you know. He just got married so I'm sure he's looking to get rid of some stuff.

Re: Full body chev

Hey thanks guys hope you enjoy the build as much as I have

Dodge is a 92 nv4500 custom lift cross over, home made shackle flip, pump work, big injectors, turbo, timing. Bought the truck bone stock 3 years ago and have done a new body on it to. USE to run the pitbulls but they break stuff

Getrag number4

Orders some profender 2.0x16s" anyone run them?

Re: Full body chev

I run 14s/16s on my rig. They have been fine. Dont race and never had anything else, so cant compare them to other brands, but they have held up to abuse. I run their bumps as well.

Re: Full body chev

Need some help deciding.

Have been readi and reading about different link set ups for the front of this truck and what I should use. I have been leaning towards a radius arm set up. Good for high speed, truck will be used to jump, race, who knows what else.
So it's either that or your regular triangulated 4 link..

Anyone else have any ups and downs about the 2 different set ups?

where are you located? I only ask because of the moose antlers.

The first pictures were when we lived on Vancouver island those are mainland moose.
Now we live in stony plain Alberta

Re: Full body chev

finally getting somewhere

2.0x16 profenders... would it be worth it to step up to a 2.5? these were in m budget and the 2.5s are more just to keep heat down right/

Re: Full body chev

May want to rethink the radius arm setup you have laid out, you may find it binding on you during the suspension travel/movement. A three link setup would likely serve your purposes better. Not bashing your build, just giving some food for thought.

Re: Full body chev

been playing around a little bit. moved my mounts in a inch and shortened the uppers a lot!
buying a jd2 bender this week to finish off the hoops and front of the truck!
bare with me this is my first time doing links ::)

still going to be building a truss yet to tie it all together and hold the hydro ram

Re: Full body chev

Work looks good and clean. I don't know much about radius arm setups but you'll still need a track bar right?
