Ive tried to be respectful of the situation, because honestly even if its a biligerantly high figure, I dont even know how you put $$ figures on stuff like this, hell I dont even know what a collector would be willing to pay for the lil motors in that trailer.. But yea the Foyt motor raises all kinds of wild thoughts in my mind, I mean how do you put a figure on something that old, that damn rare to begin with and that damn cool ????

I cant even guess or begin to guess what you and pops got into that trailer for... it just makes me stupid thinking about what something like that is worth. laughing1

I have "guess" estimates on what the Merlin would go for.. but I dont know if im even close on that. laughing1

I would like to hear that conversation as well. This stuff fascinates me. I am like P, I just do not see how you put a $ figure on a piece of history like that.

easy, you tell the guy 2 hundy and a hot 30 pack, he laughes at you and tells you to **** off, tells you 100K, you laugh at him tell him to **** off, you meet somewhere in the middle.
the deal took years of talking about it every day. that's how hard it is to put a price on. if you put a pric eon time, its about a half million dollar deal molaugh molaugh

Not working for me either. Give me a minute and i'll put up a link to the story that he did on J.J.
