:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:Jobless said:It could, best to just replace it on a regular basis like every 3rd oil change. Especially for some vehicles that use simple inexpensive in-line filters.

I don't know of a single person that has ever been satisfied with the power or fuel mileage of the 3.slow

I believe the factory recommendation is 120k miles. My truck is still on it's original filter well past 200k. That damned thing outlasted the original motor.
Where did I say that Brad?Jobless said:So because you don't change the filter and do regular maintenance other shouldn't as well?
No, that's just plain stupid. I haven't changed the filter because it's not plugged. Why waste time and effort, especially with where it is on a 22RE, to fix something that's not broken. :flipoff:Jobless said:I know a guy who didn't change his oil for 120k miles either...he just kept adding more, but that doesn't make it right.
Mabye you shouldn't buy gas at AM/PM :flipoff: :looser: Are you saying the company who designed, spec'd, and built the truck is wrong? :stirpot:Jobless said:The factory recommendations are based on what? Definately not getting a bad tank of gas sucked off the bottom of a near empty tank![]()

Jobless said:If you don't check it how would you know if it's not plugged and/or getting plugged?
AM/PM don't sell diesel :redneck:
Yep...they're wrong. Do you have any idea of how they calculate maintenance intervals or MTBF?
