If i was just re gearing it i would have went 4:10 but it yoked out the carrier and didn't want to replace all that stuff. I picked up the whole thing for 250 so im happy for now.

I miss Pick-a-part, rear axles use to be literally half that.
Yeah me too. That place was one of the few reasons I loved living in that area....
98 Dodge 3500 12V-CTD 5spd and 4.10s and wouldn't have it any other way. We bought that pickup strictly to tow and that she does and does damn well.
4.10s were at 2100rpms - 60mph
