Getting Ready For The Hammers

kinda like these

drilling the leafs for a rivet is a pain but doable.

My springs are built up stock toy rear spring packs and just use the stock clamps straightened so they sit upright with bolts going through them. have done the trick so far.

it'll also stop them from faning out which is always a pain when a tire catches them.

I have made a couple sets that worked out good. 2 - 2 1/2x1/4inch flatbar with four holes. That way if some ass clown ever breaks a leaf you can help them out. Make a couple extras for the trail.

good idea, nice light weight trail fix item.

Well, we're finally ready to go after 1 month of working on Odie's wheeler it turned out pretty dam good. It was a '98 wrecked Tacoma. It has a new life. Full width 1 ton axles with 47" tires, dual transfer cases, dana 60 cv's. He drove it around a bit and flexed it out on our wood pile. Then we put it beside my rig with 42", now my tires don't look so big anymore.

See you there!:cheer:
