Got some MAF cleaner and throttle body cleaner and went after it this morning. Took it apart, and it certainly appeared clean enough, but I hosed it all down anyways... I also hit the throttle body with a toothbrush as best I could inside the butterfly and around the edge of the plate itself. Couldn't really see a whole lot of difference before/after, but it's done.
Once I had it back together, I took it for a test drive. I have to say, throttle response seems to have increased significantly, and the idle speed has increased to about 700RPM or so, up from ~500RPM which I always thought was a tad low... Unfortunatley, I cannot comment on whether or not this actually fixed the problem, as it warmed up during the throttle body cleaning process and it's too warm outside already today for it to get dead cold again. So, I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to see if it was a success.
I also pulled a couple plugs, and they looked just fine. I might go ahead and replace them just because it's cheap and easy, but I'll wait to see how this pans out over the next few days...
